Southwest Arewa Group Congratulates Ibrahim Ladega on Appointment by Governor Sanwo-Olu

Ladega’s extensive grassroots connections and political experience position him to effectively strengthen the governor’s mobilisation structure ahead of future political engagements.

Southwest Arewa Group has congratulated Ibrahim Ladega on his appointment by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that a pro-Asiwaju support group, the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027 (SWAC), Lagos State chapter, has congratulated Ibrahim Kehinde Ladega on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Mobilisation and Strategy by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The group described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that Ladega’s experience and professional background make him well-suited for the role.

In a statement, the Director General of the group, Alhaji Shehu Usman Sampam, praised Ladega as a seasoned political strategist with the capacity to deliver results.

According to Sampam, Ladega’s extensive grassroots connections and political experience position him to effectively strengthen the governor’s mobilisation structure ahead of future political engagements.

He also expressed confidence that Ladega would leverage his previous role as Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters to Femi Gbajabiamila; now Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to drive strategic political coordination within the state.

The group further noted that Ladega’s appointment would contribute significantly to building support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) as preparations intensify toward the 2027 general elections.

“On behalf of the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027, Lagos State chapter, we wish him success in this new role,” Sampam said.

The group reaffirmed its support for the administration and expressed optimism that Ladega’s appointment would enhance political mobilisation efforts across Lagos and the wider Southwest region.
