Primate Ayodele has preached love and compassion to Christians on Christmas.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that on this Christmas Day, Primate Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has shared a heartfelt message calling on Christians worldwide to reflect on the true essence of Christmas — love.

In his message, Ayodele emphasizes the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ as a profound symbol of God’s undying love, mercy, and the ultimate gift to humanity.

“Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whose life and sacrifice brought salvation and redemption to all of humanity,” Primate Ayodele said. “It is a moment to remember God’s great love for us and to reflect on the importance of showing love to one another.”

The cleric reminded Christians that the core message of Christmas is love, and urged people to extend kindness and compassion not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year. “Let us show love to everyone we come across, regardless of their religion, race, or background,” he said. “Christmas is a reminder that we are all brothers and sisters, united in love.”

In light of the ongoing hardships facing many Nigerians, especially in these difficult times, Ayodele urged those blessed with resources to share with those in need. “In Nigeria, where many face challenges, let us remember the spirit of Christmas by helping those less fortunate. If we have abundance, we must share it with those who are struggling.”

Primate Ayodele also reminded his followers that, while Christmas is a time of celebration, the focus should always remain on Jesus Christ, who is the “reason for the season.” He called on Christians to live more Christ-like lives, embracing humility, love, and compassion in their daily actions.

As Nigerians and people worldwide celebrate Christmas, Ayodele’s message serves as a timely reminder of the importance of love, unity, and giving, particularly during these trying times.

Merry Christmas to all, he concluded, encouraging everyone to be Christ-like in their actions and interactions.
