President Tinubu Appoints Self Minister of Petroleum

Tinubu Ministerial Portfolios released by the Presidency on Wednesday show that the President appointed himself as the Minister of Petroleum just like former President, Muhammadu Buhari did during his 8 years tenure.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has released the list of portfolios for his ministerial appointees.

 

This Nigeria News platform understands that the Presidency released Tinubu Ministerial Portfolios on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Tinubu Ministerial Portfolios released by the Presidency on Wednesday show that the President appointed himself as the Minister of Petroleum just like former President, Muhammadu Buhari did during his 8 years tenure.

 

The ministry has been broken into two, with 2 ministers of state, all from the South-South. Yusuf Tuggar is the foreign minister, Dele Alake Solid Minerals, Mohammed Idris Information Minister, Festus Keyamo will be in charge of aviation and aerospace development, while Nyesom Wike will be in charge of the FCT Ministry. The Ministry of Environment is being reserved for Kaduna state, northern Nigeria.
