Celebrities; Mr P, Rude Boy, J Martins, Cubana, Others take over campaign of Labour Party candidate ahead of the 2023 general election.

 

Newsonline reports that Nigerian celebrities including; McMacaroni, Obi Cubana, have joined the campaign team of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi ahead of the general election coming in 2023.

 

The celebrities are mobilizing their fans for the former governor of Anambra State, to ensure his victory as the president of Nigeria come 2023.

 

Newsonline had reported how the social media has taken over the campaign of Peter Obi, who resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party, over his principle of credible democracy, which did not match with the PDP. Read more

 

In their different handles, the celebrities are mobilizing their fans to get their permanent voter’s card to ensure that their candidate wins the election.

 

Going by the name Obi-dient to show their identity and support for the Labour Party presidential candidate, the celebrities have also organized live performances, where entry ticket shall be voter’ card and being an Obi-dient.

 

The duo of Psquare, Peter Okoye, Mr P and his twin brother, Paul Okoye, Rude Boy, where among the first of the celebrities to stir their fans to get their voter’s card for Peter Obi.

Mr P, who had changed his twitter account image with Peter Obi picture, in a tweet, said, “Pls can somebody give me a chilled bottle beer. Dear Nigerians and the Youths! This is not about the North or South here, We are no longer interested in party politics, But the qualities of the candidate! if we miss this opportunity! We might never get it again. #PeterObi2023”.

 

Defending his candidate against Dele Momodu, a PDP chieftain over statement that Peter Obi will lose election, because his party has no structure, Mr P, replied with, “Pls one more thing Sir Mr Dele Momodu, With all the Money and structure that other Political Parties has or have! Where has it taking Nigeria to?

 

“We need Pure CHANGE! And Peter Obi is that change! And now a Threat to all of them all! Sorosoke! We are just getting started sir.”

His brother Rude boy has also been mobilizing his fans to get their PVCs for the Labour party candidate. Paul Okoye, stating, ” i am very Obi-dient” called on his fans to use the window of the extended voter’s registration exercise to get their PVC for the popular candidate.

 

Obi Cubana, Obinna Iyiegbu, show promoter, entrepreneur and hotel business man has also thrown his weight behind the former governor of Lagos.

 

Cubana in calling his million followers go get their PVC, tweeted, “If you see a good man you will know one…Obi is a good man and will be a good president.”

 

Debo, a popular comedy skit maker said, ” We are coming to other states also with a lot of Fantabulous Artists to perform. The only ticket is your PVC!!! Oya ooo my people!!! Lezzz gooo!!!”

 

Also, J Martins, a legendary hip hop artist, was handy to mobilize his supporters for Peter Obi ahead of the presidential election, “If truly you want the best for yourself & your children’s future in our country Nigeria, you must go out there & get your PVC’s today. We must take back our country from the hands of a few persons that have sort to destroy it. @PeterObi is committed to serve.”
