NewsOnline Nigeria reports that American rapper Kiari Cephus, popularly known as Offset, has broken his silence on the long-standing rumours linking him romantically to fellow rapper Saweetie.

Speaking during a podcast interview with actress and singer Keke Palmer, Offset dismissed the allegations, describing them as entirely false and blown out of proportion.

“The whole Saweetie situation was just weird,” he said, stressing that the cheating rumours were “strange, baseless, and made no sense at all.”

The former Migos star got candid about his split from Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, admitting that his own missteps played a major role in the collapse of their marriage.

“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” Offset confessed, acknowledging that infidelity and bad decisions ultimately tore them apart.

Still, he spoke with warmth about Cardi B, calling her “bro” and clarifying that, despite their separation, their divorce hasn’t been finalized.

Reflecting on his recent struggles, Offset opened up about coping with the tragic loss of his cousin and bandmate, Takeoff, who was shot dead in 2022.

The rapper said the pain pushed him to reevaluate his life, adding that he’s now focused on personal growth and emotional healing.

“I’m all about becoming a better man now,” he shared, noting that therapy and faith have helped him battle addiction and find peace of mind.
