NewsOnline reports that the Former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, has tasked the incoming administration of the president-elect, Bola Tinubu to implement certain necessary policies that are capable of changing the lives of Nigerians.
This online newspaper understands that the former governor, who made the assertion at the 2nd Change and Development Forum of the Dare Adeboye Foundation, also stated that Tinubu must carry through the ongoing economic reforms of the present administration, such as the cashless policy, state police and the removal of subsidy on fuel.
The foundation was put together in memory of Pastor Dare Adeboye, son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, who died on May 4, 2021.
According to the former governor, unlike the current administration, the incoming government must ensure inclusiveness in its appointments to various positions.
He said, “For me, the greatest accountability challenge before the incoming administration is uniting this country. The process must start by being fair to its composite ethnic nationalities.
“Deliberate efforts must be made to make the public space more inclusive, such that those who feel genuinely alienated can be brought back into the mainstream of our governance processes, without in any way compromising quality.”
