Lagos Chief of Staff Backs Southwest Arewa Community’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027

Ayinde reaffirmed his full support for the group’s 2027 agenda, stating that their efforts align with the broader goals of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision; economic transformation, stability, and a more prosperous future for Nigerians.

Lagos Chief of Staff has backed Southwest Arewa Community’s Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Lagos State Chief of Staff, Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, has declared full support for the Southwest Arewa Community Renewed Hope Agenda for Asiwaju 2027, praising the group’s mobilisation efforts and public engagement initiatives aimed at strengthening President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support base ahead of the 2027 elections.

Ayinde made the commitment on Friday, December 5, 2025, during a courtesy visit by the group to the Lagos House, Alausa. He commended the organisation’s “unrivalled commitment” to promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda across the Arewa communities in the Southwest, an electorate he described as influential and historically reliable.

Delivering his remarks earlier, Director-General of the group, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jibrin popularly known as Sampam expressed gratitude for Ayinde’s consistent backing. According to him, the Chief of Staff’s support has played a key role in the group’s impressive achievements in voter mobilisation and PVC registration.

Jibrin highlighted the group’s recent public engagement summit held on November 20, 2025, at Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Alausa, which showcased President Tinubu’s developmental strides. The event, he said, significantly raised political awareness among members and strengthened commitment to delivering “an unmatched bloc vote” for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

In his response, Ayinde applauded the group for organising and funding the summit without external support, describing it as a demonstration of genuine loyalty to the administration’s vision. He praised the Arewa Community for its longstanding integrity and unwavering alliance with the Southwest, noting that “the Arewa people can always be trusted to keep their word.”

Ayinde reaffirmed his full support for the group’s 2027 agenda, stating that their efforts align with the broader goals of President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision; economic transformation, stability, and a more prosperous future for Nigerians.

The visit concluded with the presentation of branded items, an Arewa cap and a customised T-shirt featuring the iconic ABAT logo to the Chief of Staff as a symbolic gesture of solidarity.
