NewsOnline reports that Kaduna State Government (KDSG) is now accepting applications from interested students for admission into the six new model science secondary schools recently established in the State.
In conjunction with the Islamic Development Bank, the Kaduna State Government, led by Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has completed the construction of six scientific secondary schools in Hunkuyi, Manchok, Jere, Buruku, Rigachikun, and Pambegua (IsDB). These science schools exist to promote science education and to enable more students to achieve competency in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics as fundamental skills for economic growth and development in the digital age.
As a result, the Kaduna State Ministry of Education is glad to accept applications from interested students for admission into the state’s six new model scientific secondary schools, which were recently constructed.
Academic Qualification:
Prospective candidates(both male & female) must have passed the BECE Examination with distinction in the following subjects:
Age: Applicants must not exceed 15 years at the time of admission.
Medical Certificate: The student must be physically and mentally healthy. Students are required to present medical certificates from a government hospital.
Mode of Screening/Entrance Examination: Candidates that meet the requirements will be required to take the CBT placement examination and submit themselves for physical screening.
Inclusiveness: Students with special needs (hearing Impaired and physically challenged) are encouraged to apply.
Application forms are available online for interested students through the Kaduna State Government website www.kdsg.gov.ng or via email from education@kdsg.gov.ng.
