Senator Shehu Sani has described President Muhammadu Buhari as weak and the National Security Adviser, NSA, Major General Babagana Monguno (Retd),  as frustrated following the rising cases of insecurity across the country.

Newsonline reports that the former Kaduna Central senator said the attitude of the president towards his security chiefs in the rising cases of insecurity by retaining them is causing the country loss of lives and properties.

Senator Sani lamented that President Buhari is weak at sacking his security appointees who have failed in protecting the country.

Sani said the president insistence on keeping the security chiefs when they have failed the country is a blow to the country’s fate.

The former senator of Kaduna Central also slammed the NSA Moguno, as being frustrated like other Nigerians who are victims of the daily abductions and killings.

Senator Sani said, “The President is weak when it comes to sacking his appointees who have failed his Government and the nation at large. He retains them and is bonded to them like a blood covenant, at the cost of his reputation and the fate of the nation.

“The National Security Adviser is as ‘frustrated’ as other Nigerians.”
