Independence Day: Buhari Addresses Nigerians 7am on Saturday

President Buhari will address Nigerians 7 am on Saturday to mark the 62nd independence day.

 

Newsonline reports that President Muhammadu Buhari will address Nigerians by 7 am on Saturday as part of the activities to mark the 62nd Independence Day Anniversary celebration.

 

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, the President will speak to Nigerians through media broadcast, which would be aired by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.

“As part of activities commemorating the 62nd Independence Anniversary of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 7 am.

“Television, radio stations and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority and Radio Nigeria for the broadcast,” the statement reads.
