Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, believes his teammates will help him to surpass Brazil legend Pele as his nation’s all-time leading goalscorer.
Newsonline report that Pele is curr ently the record goalscorer for Brazil, having scored 77 goals from 92 caps during his playing time.
The former Barcelona star has netted 74 goals from 120 appearances for Selecao.
It is surely only a matter of time before Neymar overtakes Pele to become Brazil’s all-time record goalscorer.
“God willing… I hope to get past him,” Neymar was quoted as saying (via Telefoot on Twitter).
“I’m going to talk to my teammates about it and tell them to get me scored now so I can finally get there.”
