According to BILD, Boehly fired the German with the words: “We want to make a new start”.

Newsonline report that His comments left Tuchel totally surprised and shocked.

Boehly took the decision one day after Chelsea lost 1-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Tuchel leaves the club sitting in sixth place in the Premier League with 10 points.
