Crystal Palace Set to Make £12m Bid for Iheanacho in Transfer Move

Crystal Palace to make £12m bid for Iheanacho in exciting transfer news.

Newsonline Nigeria report that Crystal Palace is gearing up to kick off negotiations with Leicester City in the coming days for the talented Nigerian footballer Kelechi Iheanacho.

According to reports, the London club is preparing to make a bid ranging between £10m to £12m for the services of the Nigeria international. On the other hand, Leicester City is keen on offloading Iheanacho, who has just one year left on his current contract.

If Leicester City fails to strike a deal with any club before the current transfer window draws to a close, the talented forward will find himself departing on a free transfer next summer.

It seems that Iheanacho shares this desire to leave the King Power Stadium, as he is not keen on playing in the Sky Bet Championship.

Crystal Palace has identified him as a potential replacement for Jean-Philippe Mateta, who is highly likely to make an exit from the club this summer. It’s worth noting that Iheanacho made the switch from Manchester City to Leicester City back in 2018.
