NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has issued a warning to the public over fake social media accounts created in her name to defraud unsuspecting individuals.

In a post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday evening, the actress urged her fans and the general public to be cautious of impostors operating under her identity.

She specifically disowned a post advertising a supposed UK job vacancy, describing it as “fraudulent” and warning that she has no connection to any such offers.

The UK-based actress further cautioned that she would never solicit money, request personal information, or engage in private conversations on any platform outside her verified account.

“Please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be me. I have never requested money and will never ask for personal details or private chats on any other account. This is my main page,” Bukky Wright clarified.

She added, “A post was made on my account offering a job vacancy in the UK, and we later discovered it was fraudulent. Please disregard it. Your safety and trust mean so much to me.”
