Charlie Kirk’s Assassin

President Trump has called for death penalty for Charlie Kirk’s assassin.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that US President, Donald Trump, has said he hopes that the suspected killer of Charlie Kirk will receive the death penalty.

This Nigeria news platform recalls that Tyler Robinson was arrested by the FBI following a two-day manhunt in Utah.

The 22-year-old was apprehended after his father, Matt, turned him in.

According to law enforcement, Mr Robinson extracted a confession from his son.

Matt later contacted a clergyman friend who informed the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, and his son was arrested by US Marshals at 10 pm local time.

“He’s going to be found guilty I imagine. And I hope he gets the death penalty,” Trump said during a live appearance on Fox TV.

“Charlie Kirk was the finest person. He didn’t deserve this. He worked so hard, and so well. Everybody liked him.”

Mr Kirk, 31, a father of two, was shot dead by a gunman who used a hunting rifle to fire a single shot across the campus of Utah Valley University on Wednesday.
