
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Governor Babagana Umara Zulum has approved the immediate dissolution of the Borno State Executive Council in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Bukar Tijani, who described the move as part of efforts to create an enabling environment for political participation in the state.
Governor Zulum has directed all commissioners to hand over the management of their respective ministries to Permanent Secretaries on or before Friday, April 3, 2026.
The governor also expressed profound appreciation to the outgoing commissioners for their dedication, commitment, and significant contributions toward the development and service of the people of Borno State.
