Newsonline reports that unknown gunmen have attacked a convoy belonging to a House of Representatives member, Chris Emeka Azubogu.
According to a report by POLITICS NIGERIA, eyewitnesses said the gunmen attacked the convoy in Nnobi area of Anambra state on Thursday evening.

This development is coming barely 24 hours after Dr Chike Akunyili, husband to late NAFDAC DG, Dora Akunyili, was gruesomely shot dead in the Nkpor area of the state by gunmen.
The driver was shot by the assailants and he died instantly. Fortunately, Azubogu was not in the convoy during the attack.
