Newsonline reports that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has tentatively scheduled its national convention to sometime in February 2022.
This was disclosed to State House Correspondents on Monday by Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) Governor Atiku Bagudu after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Bagudu met the President with the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC Governor Mai Mala Buni and his Jigawa counterpart, Mohammed Badaru.
The meeting with APC Governors was preceded by another meeting, also behind closed-door, with Senate President Ahmad Lawan at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
