Newsonline Nigeria reports that David Beckham, the formal England midfielder, has recently urged the Glazer family to conclude the takeover saga this summer.
This Nigeria News understands that David Beckham is currently the owner of Major League Soccer (MLS) side Inter Miami. So far Beckham has recently seen Lionel Messi join his side.
However, Beckham while speaking in an interview with The Athletic, he spoke about his former club and their ownership situation.
“Off the field, as a fan and ex-player, I just want to see changes happen. There has to be a decision (regarding the ownership).
“Whoever is running your club, you want them to be passionate, be involved, make the right decisions, bring in the right players, and invest in the club.
“Also because the club need investment, whether it’s the training facility, stadium, on the field performance… these kinds of big things need to be made and changes do need to happen, especially when he sees the success of teams like Man City.
