Beauty: NBA Declares BBNaija Housemate “Not One Of Them”

 

NewsOnline reports the recent announcement by The Nigerian Bar Association, refuting claims by the now disqualified housemate “Beauty Tukura” of being one of them.

 

The statement posted by the Vice president of the association via his facebook page reads “My attention and I guess of a large number of lawyers in Nigeria have been drawn to news reports that one Beauty Tukura, who is claimed and/or claims to be a lawyer participated and also got ignominiously disqualified from the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show “for throwing her wig and glasses at” a co-participant in the live show being watched by millions around the world after a party” he declared.

He further said “These reports have been very embarrassing to most members of the legal profession and may in all reasonable probability bring the profession into disrepute if found to be true. A quick check of the databases of the Roll of Legal Practitioners kept in the Supreme Court and the Nigerian Bar Association failed to reveal the name “Beauty Tukura” to be on the Supreme Court Roll or to be a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.”

Proceeding, he called on the general public to reach out with any vital information that can help the association prove otherwise, in his own words he writes “However, I hereby appeal to anyone who may be aware of her true name assuming we may have gotten her real name wrong to reach out to me. Thank you. John Aikpokpo-Martins, 1st Vice President, NBA. 8/8/2022.”

This statement was addressed differently by fans of the ex-housemate, while some considered it too harsh and probably untrue, others hailed the association for their statement.

Recall, Beauty  got disqualified from the liveshow on Sunday evening, over her dissobedience to the house layed down rules. The former Miss Nigeria, had before the disqualification been giving warning strikes.
