Barcelona Striker, Aubameyang Was Robbed In His Home Early Today

Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the victim of a violent robbery at his home in the early hours of Monday morning.

Newsonline reports that, in the early hours of today, Monday 29th of August, Star footballer and Barcelona striker, Aubameyang was robbed  at his home in the town of Castelldefels, near to Barcelona, at 01:00 local time.

It was reported that the robbers broke into the house, proceeded to threaten the player and his wife, carted away some jewellery. after forcing them to open a safe.

The footballer was reported to have been beaten in the incidence of the said robbery operation. Barcelona said Aubameyang and his wife were OK following the robbery.

The Gabon international, 33, was an unused substitute as Barcelona beat Real Valladolid 4-0 at the Nou Camp on Sunday.
