Newsonline reports that, Nigerian singer and YBNL signee, Asake has just released his debut album. The album which he titled “Mr Money With The Vibes”, really comes with a number of vibes, as he shows off his artistry range and cross-genre capacities.
The singer who is most popular for his catchy lyricism that seems to sit on a specific type of instrumentaion, has opened our eyes to his range.
On this album, he goes off on various sounds, ensuring he infuses afrobeat ofcourse. The singer who held down his position as an afropop star, bopped off on amapiano easily, and still pulled off an almost trap-bouncy track with American rapper, Russ. And ofcourse, the Burna Boy collab on Sungba remix still sounds classy
He did a number of songs that depicts his originality, ensuring to keep fans satisfied. It is also very important to say that, the intro to the album, Dull, was such a smooth rendition from the superstar, with the lyrics in mind, we are sure never going to be without an Asake hit anytime soon, he reveals he’s never going to looseguard.
It ia also important to make mention that, production on the album is perfection, the instrumentals were perfectly cooked.
Overall the album will pass for a 8, only holding back some, because it lacked great collaborations, but nonetheless he made a masterpiece, and spazzed on every single one of the tracks, at some points while listening to Organize off the album, i was hoping label boss, Olamide will jump in at some point, but yeah, that never happened.
