APC Removes Wike From Bayelsa Campaign Council List Amidst Controversy

APC has removed Wike’s name from the Bayelsa Campaign Council list amidst controversy.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the All Progressive Congress (APC) has removed FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike from the Bayelsa election campaign council list.

 

This is coming after there was mild controversy when the first list surfaced on the internet.

Nigerians had expressed surprise over the inclusion of Wike on the list despite still being a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). Meanwhile, Wike had earlier been listed in the PDP campaign council for the same election.

In an updated list released a few minutes ago, it was discovered the ex-governor’s name has been removed.
