Newsonline reports that the governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has stated that the all is in place for the Monday primary election of the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, who also is the Chairman, sub-committee on Security and Compliance for the APC Special Convention and Presidential Primary Election, made the statement in response to the screening and submission of reports by the screening committee led by Chief John Oyegun.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, on Saturday in Akure, the Ondo State governor, said he was sure that the Monday exercise will be hitch free following the successful screening exercise conducted by Oyegun led committee.
Governor Akeredolu said it was certain that not all aspirants would scale the screening, but he was sure that the party members being disciplined , would contribute to peaceful primary election come Monday.
Part of Governor Akeredolu statement read, “This is not our first time using this Eagle Square, we have knowledge of the venue already.
“We have already started work on the venue, on security and everything. So, We are ready. I think we are good to go.
“We are going to have a hitch-free primary. We are a disciplined party and our members will show discipline here on the d-day.”
