2023 Election: There Will Be Refreshing Change When I Take Over- Tinubu

Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has promised Nigerians that there will refreshing change when he wins the 2023 election coming on 25 February.

 

Newsonline reports that Tinubu said he was confident of his victory in the 2023 election because his party is more structured and orderly and committed to the progress of the country.

 

The former governor of Lagos State said he is not threatened by the activities of other parties and their candidates whom he described as bickering, spewing fake statistics and wrong figures.

 

He stated this on Wednesday at the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC in Abuja.

According to Tinubu: “We are not threatened. We are committed, and we are very proud of ourselves; we are of orderly manner, we are committed to democratic principles and values; we are not bickering in any way, and you know that.

 

“Can you say that of the other parties? We are not spewing fake statistics and wrong figures; can you say that of other parties? Well, we are what we are, a progressive party.

 

“It is a new horizon, and we assure every Nigerian will benefit, and I am very sure that there will be a refreshing change and we will continue development in a rapid way.”

 

Bola Tinubu will be slugging it out at the poll in the 2023 election along with Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party; Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP); and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
