2023 Election: Only Atiku, PDP, Have Agenda For Nigerian Youths- Adeleke

He restated that his administration will ensure high youth representation across the Ministries and agencies, noting that Our youth agenda will create enabling environment for our youth to grow and develop.

Osun State Governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke has said that only the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the party have agenda for the youthful population of Nigeria ahead of the 2023 election.

 

Newsonline reports that Senator Adeleke said for the youths to have a proper representative in the governance of the country come 2023 election they have to all vote for Atiku Abubakar.

 

The Osun State governor-elect spoke this on Wednesday while receiving the report of the Youth Advisory Council, presented by its chairman, Adekunle Ademola Sadipe in Osogbo.

 

Adeleke said, “I call on Nigerian youth to vote en masse for all candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023 general election as the party has the best youth development agenda.

“While receiving the report of my Youth Advisory Council presented by Chairman of the Youth Council, Mr Adekunle Ademola-Sadipe, I reminded them that only PDP has solid plans for Nigerian youth, which covers all areas of youth needs and aspirations from employment, youth leadership, youth inclusion in governance, education, health and sports development, calling on Nigerian youth to support all candidates of the PDP in the 2023 general elections.”

 

Adeleke promised the Youth Council that its report will be implemented because he would not have been governor-elect of the state if they have not seen his ambition as youth agenda.

 

He assured the youths of Osun State that he is committed to address all challenges confronting the youths including unemployment, underemployment, drug abuse, internet fraud, and prostitution among others.

 

“Osun youth supported my governorship ambition as my youth development agenda directly addresses the pressing challenges facing the youths which include unemployment, underemployment, drug abuse, thuggery and cultism, internet fraud, and prostitution amongst others,” he said.

 

He further added, “I call Osun youth and Nigerians at large to cast their votes for PDP candidates nationwide to ensure an inclusive governance , not only in Osun but across the federation. We need a government that will ensure direct attention to the various sectors of the economy and the society
so that our youth can enjoy balanced growth and development into adulthood.”

 

He restated that his administration will ensure high youth representation across the Ministries and agencies, noting that Our youth agenda will create enabling environment for our youth to grow and develop.
