Zoho has unveiled Proprietary Zia LLM and expanded AI Suite with Agents and Studio Tools.
NewsOnline Nigeria reports that global technology company, Zoho, has announced the launch of Zia LLM, its in-house large language model, alongside an expanded AI suite that includes Zia Agent Studio, more than 25 pre-built AI agents, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to enable interoperability with third-party agents.
Speaking on the development, Kehinde Ogundare, Country Head, Zoho Nigeria, said the new innovations underscore the company’s focus on customer data protection, contextual capabilities, and business value.
“Our LLM model is trained specifically for business use cases, with privacy and governance at its core. This ensures lower inference costs while enabling customers to harness AI efficiently and productively,” Ogundare stated.

Zia LLM: Enterprise-Ready AI
Built entirely in-house using NVIDIA’s AI-accelerated computing platform, Zia LLM is trained on Zoho’s diverse product ecosystem, supporting tasks such as data extraction, summarisation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and code generation.
The model comes in three parameter sizes (1.3B, 2.6B, and 7B) to balance efficiency and scalability. While Zoho already integrates external LLMs like ChatGPT, Llama, and DeepSeek, Zia LLM strengthens data privacy by keeping customer data within Zoho’s servers.
In addition, Zoho introduced two proprietary Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) models for English and Hindi, with plans to expand support to other languages and deploy a Reasoning Language Model (RLM) for deeper contextual analysis.
Zia Agents and Studio: AI for Real-World Business Impact
To accelerate adoption, Zoho has rolled out pre-built AI agents embedded across its applications. Examples include:
-
Customer Service Agent for Zoho Desk, which processes requests and provides first-line support.
-
Candidate Screener, which ranks job applicants by skills and suitability.
-
Deal Analyser, which evaluates deals and predicts outcomes.
-
Revenue Growth Specialist, which suggests upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
These agents are available on the Zia Agent Marketplace, with opportunities for partners and developers to create and publish their own in the near future.
The revamped Zia Agent Studio is now fully prompt-based, with low-code options and access to over 700 Zoho product actions. Agents can be deployed autonomously, rule-triggered, or embedded in customer conversations.
Interoperability and Governance
With the adoption of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Zoho customers can securely access workflows across more than 15 Zoho apps and integrate with third-party tools through Zoho Flow. MCP ensures advanced AI use cases while safeguarding data compliance and governance.
The company added that Ask Zia, its conversational AI assistant, now features additional business intelligence (BI) skills for engineers, analysts, and data scientists, with upcoming extensions for finance and customer support teams. Support for Agent-to-Agent (A2A) collaboration will also enable Zia agents to work together and integrate seamlessly with external agents.
With these launches, Zoho positions itself as a privacy-first AI innovator, providing enterprises with scalable, secure, and business-focused AI solutions.
