Yamal, Mainoo, Savinho, 17 Others Named Finalists For Golden Boy Award (FULL LIST)

Yamal, Mainoo and Savinho among 17 others have been named finalists for the Golden Boy Award.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the 20-man shortlist for the prestigious 2024 Golden Boy Award was officially revealed on Thursday evening.

 

Among the rising stars who cut are Lamine Yamal of Barcelona, Kobbie Mainoo from Manchester United, and Savinho, who plays for Girona while on loan from Manchester City.

 

The Golden Boy Award, established to honor the best football player under the age of 21, is a highly coveted accolade that players can only win once in their career.

 

Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham, the current holder of the award, set a high standard with his exceptional performances last year.

 

The next winner will be announced at a ceremony in Turin on December 17.
