The friendly against Japan holds at the Noevir Stadium, Kobe on Thursday, 6th October.

Newsonline report that both countries will use the game as part of their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.

Regulars Rasheedat Ajibade, Asisat Oshoala, Ashleigh Plumptre, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Osinachi Ohale were named in the squad.

Midfielders Regina Otu, Halimatu Ayinde and Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and forwards Uchenna Kanu, Gift Monday, Vivian Ikechukwu are the other usual suspects included in the squad by Waldrum.

The Super Falcons recently lost 4-0 and 2-1 to the United States of America in a two-match tour of the North African country.

Midfielders: Regina Otu, Christy Ucheibe, Halimatu Ayinde, Peace Efih, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Deborah Abiodun

Forwards: Asisat Oshoala, Uchenna Kanu, Ifeoma Onumonu, Gift Monday, Vivian Ikechukwu, Rasheedat Ajibade, Toni Payne.
