NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Unity Bank Plc, Mr. Ebenezer Kolawole, has commended the Bank’s frontline staff for their dedication and resilience while reaffirming Unity Bank’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer service across all channels.

Speaking at the flag-off of the Customer Service Week 2025 celebration, themed “Mission: Possible,” Kolawole highlighted the importance of responsiveness and innovation in strengthening service culture. He noted that as customers become more sophisticated, Unity Bank is investing significantly in technology, systems, and people to redefine the customer journey and elevate overall experience.

Kolawole lauded Unity Bank’s customer service teams for their professionalism, passion, and resilience, stressing that the Bank’s success in meeting diverse customer needs is anchored on teamwork and innovation.

Chief Customer Service Officer, Elfrida Igebu, also emphasized the importance of recognizing staff who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service, stating that the 2025 theme reinforces the idea that challenges can be overcome with the right mindset and collaboration.

Throughout the week, Unity Bank branches and offices nationwide hosted customer appreciation engagements, staff recognition awards, festive decorations, and cultural costume displays to mark the Customer Service Week in grand style.

Unity Bank has remained a trailblazer in customer service innovation — being among the first to launch a multilingual USSD platform (7799#) and consistently enhancing its mobile banking app, Unifi, to ensure greater convenience and satisfaction for its customers.
