Sam Aboyeji Re-Elected Foursquare Gospel Church GO

Aboyeji appreciated the delegates for the peaceful conduct of the affirmation election while also coveting the cooperation and participation of all the members in fulfilling the mandate of the church.

Sam Aboyeji has been re-elected as Foursquare Gospel Church GO.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, Rev Sam Aboyeji has been re-elected to lead the church for another term of five years beginning in November 2024.

This Nigeria news platform understands that the Chairman of the Electoral (Affirmation) committee, who is the Northern Regional Coordinator of the church, Rev. Professor. James Nda Jacob announced the re-election of Aboyeji. He said having received an overwhelming vote of 1,931 which made up of 97.6% from the 1,979 votes by delegates for the church’s special convention on Monday at the Foursquare Camp Ajebo in Ogun State, Aboyeji has been mandated the church to greater heights.

The delegates from 178 Districts of the church across the country, who were present at the affirmation exercise described the electoral process as transparent and acceptable.

 

James said that the church’s constitution requires that the General Overseer secures simple majority votes by delegates for the renewal of his mandate.

Aboyeji appreciated the delegates for the peaceful conduct of the affirmation election while also coveting the cooperation and participation of all the members in fulfilling the mandate of the church.

 

“Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria will not relent in playing its God-given pivotal role as a frontline evangelical and Pentecostals movement in our country.

 

“Our outreach focus will continue to guide and shape our policies and procedures in meeting the demands of ministry. The welfare of all our minsters will be further enriched as we accelerate the pursuit of our evangelistic and mission thrust,” he stated.
