The Spokesman of Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Daniel Bwala, has said the movement of Peter Obi from church to church cannot help him win the 2023 election.

Newsonline reports that Bwala said unless Peter Obi is seeking spiritual edification by his frequent going to churches he will not win if it is for political gains.

Bwala also accused the former governor of Anambra State of reaping what he sowed on the issue of his new campaign director general, Akin Oshuntokun who is also a senatorial candidate of Zenith Labour Party.

“He moves from one church to another, God is not mocked. If your movement is for spiritual edification, amen to that. But if it is for political reason, the church members too would be political on the day of election and vote for candidates of their choice. Politics begat politics,” Atiku spokesman said.

On Akin Oshuntokun, the new Labour Part presidential campaign director general who is accused of belonging to ZLP and working for the ruling party APC, Bwala added, “This scam has no part two. Imagine the DG of Labour Party is a Senatorial candidate of another party. You cannot put something on nothing and expect it to stand.”
