Napoli and Victor Osimhen are nearing contract extension.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Victor Osimhen and Napoli are finalizing the last details of a new contract.

Osimhen is expected to sign a two-year contract extension with Napoli, which means he will be with the team until 2027.

Victor Osimhen and Napoli are finalizing the details of a new contract, which includes a release clause of around €150m.

Initially, Napoli’s president Aurelio de Laurentiis wanted the release clause to be €200m, but he seems to have lowered it due to pressure from Osimhen’s camp.

Victor Osimhen, who is 24 years old, was a subject of interest from top clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich this summer. He was the highest scorer in Serie A last season, with 26 goals from 32 games.
