NYSC has sent an important message to all prospective corps members.

NewsOnline reports that the National Youth Service Corps has notified prospective corps members to resolve issues with their date of graduation while the online registration is still ongoing.

The scheme made the announcement via its official Twitter handle on Tuesday evening, while noting that it would not correct the date of graduation once they reported to the orientation camps, or once state code numbers had been issued.

The NYSC further advised the prospective corps members who had discrepancies in the dates uploaded by their schools, to urgently contact their Student Affairs Officers, and warned that they should not proceed to the camps without the effective correction.

The notice read, “All 2023 Batch A Stream 2 Prospective Corps members are to note that correction of any wrong date of graduation can only be treated by the NYSC during the online registration up until the release of call up letters.

“The NYSC will not correct date of graduation once PCMs report to orientation camps. Once a state code number is issued, the date of graduation can no longer be corrected.

“PCMs with discrepancies in date of graduation on their Statement of Result and what was uploaded by their institutions to the NYSC portal are strongly advised to resolve the problem with their SAOs and should not proceed to camp until the correction is effected.”

NewsOnline had earlier reported that online registration for the 2023 Batch A Stream 2, would run from Tuesday, April 11 till Monday, April 17,  2023.
