Moniepoint has secured triple win and emerged as Africa’s Leading Fintech Force in 2025.

The company won Best SME Microfinance Bank of the Year for the second consecutive year at the BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions (BAFI) Awards 2025, earned the title of Largest Non–FI Acquirer in Africa at Mastercard EDGE 2025 in Dubai, and was named Most Outstanding Fintech Company of the Year at the 2025 Brandcom Awards.

Moniepoint MFB’s repeat win at the BAFI Awards highlights its strong commitment to empowering SMEs through business banking, credit, payments, and growth-focused management tools. At Mastercard EDGE, a premier innovation forum for Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa the company was celebrated for driving digital payment enablement at scale across the continent.

At the Brandcom Awards, the fintech giant received the highest recognition available in the fintech category. Organizers described Moniepoint as a standout leader whose rapid growth, customer engagement, and role in advancing financial inclusion make it one of Africa’s most influential technology companies.
