NewsOnline reports that the Department of State Services (DSS) has denied media reports alleging that its operatives prevented the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials from entering their Lagos office.
A statement issued on Tuesday by the spokesperson of the DSS, Dr. Peter Afunanya, said it is not true but that the Service is only occupying its facility where it is carrying out its official and statutory responsibility.
He reiterated that there is no controversy over the building at No 15A Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, as insinuated by the media.
He noted that the NSO headquarters was where the SSS/DSS started.
Meanwhile, the service assured that there is no rivalry with EFCC and that both are great partners working for the good of the nation.
