Governor Sanwo-Olu Bans Okada In Lagos

Governor Sanwo-Olu has banned Okada in Lagos.

 

 

Newsonline reports that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has announced a total ban on Okada in the state.

 

The total ban, Newsonline Nigeria learnt will take effect from Wednesday, June 1.

He made the announcement during a press conference on Wednesday.

 

This online newspaper understands that Okada ban in Lagos is coming in the wake of the jungle justice melted on a sound engineer in the Lekki area of the state last week by motorcyclists.

 

The affected local government areas are Ikeja, Surulere, Eti-Osa, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island and Apapa.
