FG has released shortlist for Immigration, Civil Defence, Fire, and Correctional Services Recruitment 2025.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Federal Government has released the list of shortlisted candidates for recruitment into four major paramilitary agencies, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS).

The announcement was made by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) on behalf of the Federal Government.

According to a statement signed by the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (Rtd.), applicants are advised to visit the official recruitment portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their shortlisting status and verify the date and venue of their Computer-Based Test (CBT).

“All shortlisted candidates should log in to the recruitment portal to check their status and note their examination centres, dates, and times,” the statement read.

Jibril also warned applicants against fraudsters, urging them to disregard unofficial information and rely only on updates published on the CDCFIB’s verified website.

The ongoing recruitment covers the four paramilitary agencies under the CDCFIB’s supervision — the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
