Mark Lawrenson has revealed the club Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to join after leaving Liverpool. With speculation growing around the talented defender’s future, fans are keen to see how this transfer could affect both his career and Liverpool’s lineup.

Newsonline Nigeria reports that Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has announced that defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to join Real Madrid from the Reds next season.

Alexander-Arnold has been a subject of speculation regarding a move to Real Madrid since the beginning of the season. The England international is currently in the final year of his contract with Arne Slot’s team.

He could join Los Blancos as a free agent next season.

Discussing Alexander-Arnold’s future, Lawrenson told Sports Casting (via GOAL):

“I believe Trent Alexander-Arnold ranks among the best Premier League right-backs of all time when he’s in top form.

“I’ve never seen a right-back deliver the ball to players as effectively as he does.

“However, I doubt Trent will still be with the club at the start of next season; I can see him being drawn to the opportunity to play for Real Madrid. With his England teammate Jude Bellingham already there, I can envision him joining the squad next season.”
