The new EPL season has already served viewers of the English top-flight league with so much drama, as we have watched the so-called big clubs defeated by the smaller teams.

Newsonline report that viewers have seen some untouchable top players being dropped to the bench while managers discover how to win matches without them.

Football fans have also seen the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur, among others, sign new players and sell out some following the conclusion of the summer transfer window on Thursday.

Just a few days ago, Bournemouth sacked their manager Scott Parker following their 9-0 defeat to Liverpool.

NEWSONLINE brings you some of the talking points as the week six Premier League games are set to start on Saturday afternoon when Everton will host Liverpool at Goodison Park and end on Sunday evening when Manchester United will clash with Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Erling Haaland’s brilliant form:
The Manchester City striker has discovered the form he enjoyed at Borussia Dortmund. Haaland has become a nightmare for EPL defenders so far this season. The Norwegian netted a back-to-back hat-trick in Man City’s last two Premier League games against Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest, respectively.

Haaland is currently the top scorer in the Premier League with nine goals. He will hope to continue his impressive display for Pep Guardiola’s side when they face Aston Villa on Saturday at Villa Park. The 22-year-old was recently tipped by Arsenal legend Paul Merson to win the Golden Boot for the top scorer award.

Arsenal’s exceptional start:
Arsenal has won five out of five of their first Premier League matches this season. The Gunners, however, have a tough task in their next game as they will face Manchester United, who have won their last two games, at Old Trafford on Sunday.

But the talking point has been Arsenal’s perfect record after five games.

Mikel Arteta’s side are the only team in the English top-flight that is yet to lose a game.

The North London club currently top the Premier League table with 15 points from five games.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s return:

The Gabonese international returned to the Premier League on Thursday, signing for Chelsea from Barcelona.

Aubameyang, a former Arsenal captain, completed a permanent transfer to Chelsea as he signed a two-year contract with the west London club.

The striker became the sixth senior signing of the summer window to bolster Thomas Tuchel’s squad.

On becoming a Chelsea player, Aubameyang said he has some unfinished business with the Premier League.

“I’m really happy. It’s an honour to be part of this team and I can’t wait to start.

“I have some unfinished business with the Premier League, so it’s good to be back and really exciting,” Aubameyang told Chelsea’s website.

Leicester City’s poor star:
This is surprising. The Foxes finished in the top ten positions on the Premier League table last season.

They are in the 20th position on the Premier League table with 1 point from five games.

Leicester has lost four of their last five games and drew one.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are yet to win a game in the Premier League this season.

Leicester has another tough test on Saturday afternoon as they will face Brighton in an away Premier League tie at Falmer Stadium.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s summer transfer saga:
Ronaldo is still linked with a move away from Manchester United despite the summer transfer window for Europe’s big leagues closing last Thursday night.

The 37-year-old is keen to play in the Champions League, a competition Man United cannot give him this season.

The Portugal captain could still leave Manchester United this month with Turkish giants Fenerbahce believed to be working on a deal for him, with only final details left to complete the deal.

However, Turkey’s summer deadline will end on September 8, and there is plenty of time for a deal to be done.

Ronaldo, who is yet to score a goal for Man United in the Premier League this season, has started the Red Devils’ last three games on the bench.
