Dangote Refinery has added a new oil marketer to its roster.

By securing direct access to Dangote’s state-of-the-art facility, Ptima Energy joins established marketers such as MRS, Ardova, and Heyden, signaling a significant shift in the country’s fuel supply chain.

With more marketers opting to lift petrol locally, Nigeria’s dependence on fuel imports is gradually diminishing, reducing the risks associated with supply disruptions and foreign exchange fluctuations.

Sourcing fuel directly from Dangote Refinery offers marketers a consistent and reliable supply, ensuring uninterrupted operations and improved market stability. Additionally, the refinery’s competitive pricing strategy, coupled with its focus on high-quality refined products, gives marketers a distinct edge, allowing them to provide cost-effective fuel options while enhancing engine performance and environmental sustainability.

Recent pricing data shared by Dangote Refinery highlights a region-specific approach, with petrol retailing at N860 per liter in Lagos, N870 in the South-West, N880 in the North, and N890 in the South-South and South-East. This structured pricing model is designed to accommodate varying market dynamics across the country.

As more companies integrate Dangote’s refined products into their supply chains, Nigeria moves closer to achieving energy self-sufficiency. The refinery’s massive production capacity is set to reshape the nation’s fuel landscape, ensuring a more stable and affordable supply for consumers while promoting local content and reducing reliance on imported petroleum products.

Furthermore, the refinery’s commitment to quality and environmental responsibility aligns with global efforts toward cleaner energy solutions. The growing list of marketers lifting directly from Dangote is a testament to the refinery’s strategic importance in transforming Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.
