Top Nigeria Politician Is Dead.

 

News Online reports that former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Katsina State, Alhaji Isah Katsina is dead.

Alhaji Isah Katsina, News Online gathered died at the age of 81.

The deceased who died at a hospital in Katsina on Tuesday after a brief illness had since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites.

 

Born in 1940, late Isah Katsina was among the pioneer students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria who graduated in 1965.

A family source told Daily Trust that late Isah Katsina was the Secretary, Civil Service Commission of North Central State in 1975 and held the position of Head of Civil Service of Kaduna State during the administration of Muhammad Lawal Kaita.

 

He was also the Secretary to the Kaduna State Government during the military administration of Air Commodore Usman Mu’azu in 1984, and also held the same SSG position during the civilian administration of late Umar Musa Yar’adua between the years 2000 and 2003.

 

Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, his Deputy, Mannir Yakubu and Speaker, Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Tasiu Musa Maigari, were among the personalities who attended the funeral prayers.

Late Isah Katsina was buried at Rimin Badawa Cemetery after the funeral prayers held at his residence on G.R.A Ring Road in Katsina. He was survived by three wives and 14 children.
