Top Government Official has resigned.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that Prof. Joseph Alakali has resigned from his position as the Secretary to the Benue State Government.

 

Sir Tersoo Kula, the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Hyacinth Alia announced this in a statement on Tuesday.

He said Alakali submitted his letter of resignation on Monday, stating that he needed time to address personal challenges.

“In accepting the resignation, Gov. Alia expressed gratitude to Prof. Alakali for serving the state under his administration for a year and three months.

 

“He wishes him well and prays that the Almighty grants the former SSG the strength to tackle the many challenges he has chosen to address”, the statement added.
