President Tinubu has appointed 12 New Members into Investments and Securities Tribunal.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 12 members into the Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST), strengthening the body’s mandate to resolve capital market and investment disputes.

The announcement, made after recommendations by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, falls under the provisions of the Investments and Securities Act 2025.

The newly appointed members, inaugurated on Tuesday, include:

  • Amos Isaac Azi – Chairman

  • Gboyega Oyekanmi

  • Felix Onwuneme

  • Shehu Lawal Mandiya

  • Robert Uchenna Okwuego

  • Osaze Ize-Iyamu

  • Ummahani Ahmad Amin

  • Ali Sadiq Mohammed

  • Olatunde M. Amolegbe

  • Udegbulam Athanatius Chukwuemeka

  • Orya Ungwaga Roberts

  • Kamarudee Oladosu

The tribunal is tasked with safeguarding investors’ rights and boosting market confidence through transparent and speedy dispute resolution.
