Sheikh Gumi has warned Tinubu over alleged Mossad activities in Nigeria.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, has issued a stern warning to President Bola Tinubu over the alleged presence of Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, in Nigeria.

In a statement shared via his social media page, Gumi claimed that such involvement could endanger the lives of Muslim leaders nationwide.

He linked the development to past events, citing the sudden death of former Head of State, General Sani Abacha, shortly after hosting Palestinian leader Yasir Arafat in Abuja.

“Mossad in Abuja!? One should expect the clandestine murder of Muslim leaders in Nigeria soon. Abacha was poisoned the night he welcomed Yasir Arafat into Nigeria. How can this genocidal apartheid government have a footing in Nigeria? President Tinubu is ill-advised because it will cost him a lot more than he may gain,” Gumi alleged.

The cleric urged President Tinubu to reconsider any form of cooperation with foreign agencies, warning that such ties could create more problems than benefits for his administration.
