President Tinubu has appointed Brigadier-General Olakunle New NYSC DG.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Brigadier-General Nafiu Olakunle as the new Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

 

Brigadier-General Olakunle, a highly regarded artillery officer, hails from Ileogbo in Aiyedire Local Government Area of Osun State.

His appointment marks a new phase for the NYSC, as he takes over leadership of the national youth development scheme.

He takes over leadership of the scheme from Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed.
