BREAKING: PDP Wins First LGA In Edo Governorship Election

PDP has won the first LGA in the Edo Governorship election.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, winner of the Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State.

 

INEC announced this at the beginning of the collation of results of the governorship election in the state.

According to the results, PDP garnered 8,470 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress, APC, which got 5,907.

The Labour Party, LP, came a distant third with 494 votes.
