Monday 15 April has been declared a Public Holiday by the government.

 

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the government has declared 15 April (Monday) as a public holiday.

 

The decision was taken as the ‘Oil Anointing Ceremony’ of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year festival falls on 15 April.

This was communicated by the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Pradeep Yasaratne.
