Recall that Emefiele was earlier suspended on Friday by President Bola Tinubu.

DSS has arrested the suspended CBN Governor Emefiele.

 

NewsOnline reports that the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been arrested by the Department of State Services, DSS.

Recall that Emefiele was earlier suspended on Friday by President Bola Tinubu.

 

Tinubu also appointed Mr Folashodun Adebisi Shonubi as the acting Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, in replacement for Emefiele.
