The exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar according to the data posted on the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is officially traded showed that the naira opened at N436/$1  per dollar on Friday, September 13, 2022, after it closed at N437/$1 per $1 on Monday, September 12, 2022.

The local currency opened at N708.00 per $1 at the parallel market otherwise known as the black market, today, Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in Lagos Nigeria, after it closed at N708.00 per $1 on Monday, September 12, 2022.

 

Newsonline Nigeria reports that the data obtained from the bureau de change showed that on the black market, the players buy a dollar for N700 and sell for N708 on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.
